HOW TO FIT A SUN STRIP TO YOUR VEHICLE

BEFORE YOU INSTALL YOUR SUN STRIP THERE ARE A FEW DONT'S
The weather can play a big part when installing a sun strip . You should not attempt to install a sun strip when the weather is too cold, as the vinyl can take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure , this includes cold and damp spells overnight. We also advise you not to drive your vehicle during this time or use your windscreen wipers as it can cause the strip to fall off or become damaged.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED;

1.A Squeegee or a bank card

2.A mixture of soapy water in a spray bottle

3.A blade

5.A ruler or straightedge

6.Your time

1. Firstly, clean the area that you are going to be applicating, ensuring there is no grease or grime underneath.

2. Spray the desired area with a soapy water solution.

3. Take your black vinyl strip and place it in the desired area.

4. When in place spray the face of the strip with soapy water also to minimise scratching when using the squeegee or bank card.

5. Make sure all the water is out of the underneath of the sun strip using your squeegee and leave to dry.

6. When dried out carefully trim the excess of the sun strip leaving a bubble free banner on your windscreen.

7. Lastly if you are applying decals or text to your sun strip carefully wet the sun strip face and use your straight edge or ruler making sure your text is all in line.
